The impact of technological advancements and changing workplace demographics on how and where we work should be top of mind for every business, HR professional and benefits provider.
In this session, Simon Chan, Vice President, Talent, Academy, and Future of Work from Communitech will discuss the large trends impacting the workplace. He’ll review what these trends mean to companies of all sizes and three distinct groups of people who work for and with them – mid-career workers, freelancers and early career workers. He’ll provide an overview of the unique way that Communitech, in partnership with local business and education leaders in Waterloo region, is tackling this challenge and creating a blueprint for other communities to do the same. Finally, Simon will engage the group in a discussion to identify possible HR, benefits and pension solutions to meet the needs of this changing workforce.
