ISCEBS Southwestern Ontario Chapter
2026 Board Nominations

​In accordance with our local chapter bylaws, the nominating committee of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter is soliciting volunteers and recommendations of nominees for the officers and for the Board of Directors to be filled at the annual election and shall investigate the qualifications of persons under consideration.  Please send all recommendations to the Chapter Secretary, Michelle Oram, CEBS, [email protected] by October 7, 2026. The committee shall announce its nominations for the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and members of the Board of Directors to the membership not less than forty-five (45) days prior to the Annual Meeting scheduled for December 3, 2026. 
Please note that any member of the Chapter may sit on the Board, however, the member must hold the CEBS, GBA, RPA or CMS designation in order to hold an Officer position. 

Additional nominations may be made by any Chapter member by submitting the candidate’s name accompanied by a statement from the candidate indicating a willingness to serve.  Such nominations must reach the Chapter Secretary not less than thirty (30) days in advance of the Annual Meeting on December 3, 2026.  

The membership will be notified not less than ten (10) days prior to the Annual Meeting if the final list of nominees changes from the original announcement.

Election of officers and members of the Board of Directors shall take place at the Annual Meeting.  The nominee for each office receiving the greatest number of votes, whether or not a majority of all votes cast, shall be declared the successful candidate.  If more than one member shall be nominated for any office, written ballots shall be cast.

Officers and Directors shall enter into the performance of their duties at the beginning of the fiscal year following their election (January 1, 2027).
